22.4.1933 – 4.8.2025
Died peacefully in her apartment at Parkwood Lodge, aged 92. Dearly loved wife of Alan and mother of Beth. A special thanks to the nurses and staff at Parkwood Lodge for their unwavering support and kindness.

I’m very sorry to learn that Florence had died. I remember her as a fellow lipreading student with Mrs Anderson of the Gisborne Hearing Association.
I’ve just heard that Florence has passed away. So sorry for your loss. We didn’t see each other often but Florence and Alan were both so welcoming of me as an extended family member. Florence always told me how proud she was that I was an ex-Correspondence School pupil.
