THOMPSON, Geoffrey William Fleetwood: CNZM
Died on Monday 19 October 2026, peacefully at his Parkwood home. Much loved husband to the late Jan for over 60 years. Beloved father and father-in-law of James and Teru; Catherine and Adrian; Fiona and Rex; and Michael and Toria. Beloved and proud Poppa of his grandchildren, William, Alice, Edward and Charlotte, Bertie and Nellie.
Geoff’s life will be celebrated at Old St Paul’s Cathedral, 34 Mulgrave Street, Pipitea, Wellington, on Tuesday 27 October at 11:00am.
Victoria University of Wellington is where Geoff started his life in the law and made friendships that endure today.
