A mighty totara has fallen in the forest of Tane!
John O’Regan chaired the Wellington Irish Trust for a number of years, my father John Walsh and husband Paul Murray had a long association with John and had great admiration for the work he did for the Trust. John O’Regan was a person who believed in the importance of community and supporting people within the Irish community. He was generous in nature and served as Chair of the Trust for many years. A man of integrity who will be missed. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam “May his soul be at God’s right hand”.
Deirdre Walsh and the Walsh/Murray family

My memories of John have always been his beautiful smile and laughter and his eyes always lighting up when he laughs.

John and Margaret, you were a wonderful example of what it was like to be in a beautiful relationship and have a loving family.

Your parents, Cassie and Barry, were such beautiful parents And provided such a loving home environment that it was always going to be that you would be the same.

It was a pleasure to know you and I will be there to pay my last respects to you tomorrow.
