Macdonald, Elizabeth (Lou)
8th July 1939 – 8th October 2025
Lou died peacefully at Sevenoaks Retirement Village. Beloved sister of Don (dec) and Stuart; sister-in-law to Judith, Barbara and Bev; nieces and nephews – Julie, Sarah, William, Stuart, John, Kate and William. Fondly remembered by her grand nieces and nephews, close friends and cousins.

A celebration of her life will be held at Cedarwood, 17 Parata Street, Waikanae, on Tuesday, 14th October at 1.00pm.

Dear Lou.
I will dearly miss you and sit with my memories of wonderful times we shared together. I wish there had been more.
I am blessed and grateful that you were in my life, for the guidance, love and support you gave me, for considering me and for the time I had with you.
I always felt safe with you and that feeling I will treasure forever.
Thank you for your honesty, for caring about me and for being such a beautiful person.

May the grapefruits, cheese biscuits and whitebait be forever bountiful in your new home.
