KOLEFF, Shirley (nee Chilton)
Passed away suddenly at Charles Fleming Retirement Village in Waikanae on Thursday 23rd July 2026. Much loved and loving wife to Nick (dec.) of 65 years, loving and supportive mother and mother-in-law to daughter Tanya Wood and partner Greg Hillman (Levin) and to son Stephen Koleff and wife Angela Koleff (UK), Grandma to Daniel Wood (UK). “More than an aunt” to nephew Bruce (Spain), and nieces Avril (USA) and Jacqui (Australia). She will be sadly missed by all of us. Our thanks also to all the staff at Charles Fleming Rymans for their care, kindness and assistance to both Shirley and Nick over the years. As per Shirley’s wishes a private family cremation has taken place. “I am sailing, home again ‘cross the sea…”
