GRANVILLE, Shirley Edith Ellen (nee Mills):
Passed away peacefully on 4 October 2026 in Waikanae, (formerly from Whanganui), aged 103 years.
Devoted and caring wife of Euan (dec) and much loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of Lynley Means (dec) and Ian Benson, John Means (dec) and Heather Ellen and Mohammed Hassan.
Adored Nan of Phillip Means and Lani Wedd, Angela Winter Means and Joel Winter, Euan and Joanna Means, Anji Foster and Jason Lowe.
Much loved Great-Nan of Zoe, Stella, Rowan, Jack, Jorjia, Bella and James.
A very special lady who was loved by all who knew her.
Special thanks to the Staff at Waikanae Lodge for the love and care shown to Shirley and her family over the past 19 months.
As per Shirley’s wishes, a private service and cremation has been held.
