DORAN, Gillian Sigrid Ellen “Jill”:
Passed away on 3rd April 2026 after a short illness, aged 86 years. Dearly loved wife of Eddie for 62 years. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Barry, Kelly, Owen and Jackie. Loving grandmother of Hannah, Michael, Gillian, Maureen, Liam and Tahu-Potiki. Loved and missed by all her family and friends.
A Requiem Mass will be held at Our Lady of Kapiti, 1 Presentation Way, Paraparaumu, on Thursday 9th April 2026 at 11.00am, followed by burial at Waikanae Cemetery, Waikanae.

Heartfelt condolences dear Eddie. We love you and Jill so much, and are grateful for all your kindnesses, love and the precious living faith you freely shared with me and our family, and with so many others. You and Jill were so kind and thoughtful visiting me in ICU after our family accident. Jill brought me her bible to share (I didn’t have access to one at the time), and helped to brighten my days during her many visits over numerous years and throughout many operations, disability and infirmities. She visited the invisible, the suffering, the poor and forgotten. She brought the love and light of Jesus with her everywhere she went. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord, Let perpetual light shine upon her, May she rest in peace. Sending you our love.
