For My Beautiful Friend Diana ❤️
Diana, I honestly don’t know how to put into words what it feels like to say goodbye to you.
I came into your life as your carer, but somewhere along the way, you became so much more than that. You became my friend.
I will always treasure our little morning gossips. ❤️ They were such a special part of my day — sitting with you, having our chats, laughing, sharing stories and talking about everything and nothing. I never realised just how precious those little moments were until now.
I’m going to miss you, Diana. I’ll miss seeing you, hearing your voice, having our little chats and that feeling of knowing I’d get to see you and have our morning gossip.
Caring for you was never just a job to me. You mattered to me. You mattered to my heart.
I feel so lucky that I got to know the woman behind the resident — to share your days, your stories, your laughter and those quiet little moments that only we understood.
Thank you for letting me be your carer, but more importantly, thank you for letting me be your friend.
I hope you knew how much you were loved and how special you were to me.
And when I think of you, I don’t want to only think about saying goodbye. I want to remember you sitting there with me, having our little morning gossip and making me smile. ❤️
So until we meet again, my beautiful friend…
Rest peacefully, Diana.
I’ll miss our morning gossips more than you’ll ever know.
Thank you for being part of my life. 🕊️❤️
Love always,
Jackie ❤️
My sympathy to the family, I will remember gathering Ryman lunch outings
