DELLABARCA, Maria Virginia:
Passed away peacefully on Friday 30th January 2026 at Wellington Hospital, aged 94 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Antonio. Loved mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother.

He mihi aroha tēnei ki te whānau o Ginny.
Thank you, Ginny, for being a loyal friend to our Mum. We remember the friendship shared between Mum and Ginny — a bond filled with laughter, stories, understanding, and a shared wicked sense of humour that only the two of them understood.
I recall Mum telling us about the time Ginny was backing out of the garage — Ginny told Mum that ‘the garage must have moved’. Without doubt, it was a serious situation, which they were both able to laugh about — especially because the ‘garage moving’ happen not just once, but twice.
There were many shared moments that captured the joy and warmth of their friendship.
