BROOKE, Jocelyn Nancy (nee Everett):
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday 16th September 2025. Most loved mother and mother-in-law of Julia and Paul, Andrea and Mark, John and Jean, and Victoria and Chris. Dearly loved wife of the late John Brooke and Bruce Poananga. Adored Nanny of her eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family wish to sincerely thank all the Parkwood staff for their compassionate care. A celebration of Jocelyn’s life will be held at Cedarwood, 17 Parata Street, Waikanae on Friday, 19th September 2025, at 3:00pm. The service will also be live streamed here https://shorturl.at/2CKSL.

I was so sorry to hear about Jocelyn’s passing. She was a dear friend to me for many years, and I have such fond memories of the time we spent together. From our childhood days, afternoons playing tennis, to the holidays your family spent on our farm, those are memories I will always cherish.
Jocelyn was a wonderful, kind person, and I feel grateful to have had her in my life. My thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time.
