AMMERMANN, Merle Yvonne.
Peacefully on 23 July 2026 at Parkwood Lodge, Waikanae aged 85 years. Dearly loved wife of Gerhard. Loved stepmother of Mark, Christina and Christopher, sister and sister-in-law of Elaine & Brian Evans. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated at https://www.wfa.org.nz/donate
Special thanks to the Parkwood Lodge staff, especially Zoe, Virginia and Jenny for their outstanding care of Merle.
A service to celebrate Merle’s life will be held at Cedarwood, 17 Parata Street Waikanae on Friday 31 July 2026 at 11am followed by private cremation.

I have just finished watching the service online and have been in contact with Chris & Mark.
I am so very sorry for your loss.
I have a wonderful memory of coming to Xmas at your place in Koln and the kindness that Merle and you extended to me . Made me feel like I was part of the family. She was bubbly and alot fun.
My thoughts are with you all.
