ROBERTSON, Fay Young:
Passed away peacefully at Parkwood Lodge, Waikanae, on Sunday 3rd August 2025, aged 92. Much-loved wife of Peter; cherished mother and mother-in-law of Catherine, Hetty & John, Robert & Hazel, James, and Helen; grandmother of Lena, Bessie, Meg, Isla & Theo; and grandmother and great grandmother to the children and families of Richard, Hugh & Adam Robertson. A life of love well lived. Donations in lieu of flowers to Wellington Free Ambulance gratefully appreciated.
A private family cremation will be followed by a celebration of Fay’s Life at Cedarwood, 17 Parata Street, Waikanae, on Friday 8th August at 11:00am.

We have treasured memories of days at the New Zealand Dairy Research Institute and remember Fay as a kind and fun loving person who enjoyed life and travel. After our NZDRI days we recall a number of occasions meeting up with Fay and Peter at the orchestra or opera. They loved their music. We recall they sponsored a group, Czechoslovakian we think, to NZ. Go in peace Fay.
