ROBERTSHAWE, Helen Beatrix:
Helen left this earth to join the Heavenly Choir to continue singing God’s praises on the morning of Monday the 4th November 2024, following a stroke and a few days in Wellington Regional Hospital. Born 9 August 1940, the youngest daughter of Noel and Nancy Robertshawe, Helen is the dearly loved sister of Rosamond (dec), John, Mark (dec), Ralph, and Constance (dec), loved sister-in-law to Eileen, Diana, and the late Gloria Robertshawe. Helen led a courageous independent life, working in health services, loving music especially choral singing and piano/organ playing in church. She was friend to many through her singing and love of sport and loved being with others, guiding visitors at Wellington Cathedral and a member of many church groups. She was noted for her generosity to family and many charities. The family wish to thank those remarkable friends who watched over Helen and cared enough to assist her at home.
