REILLY, Maureen Valerie (nee Kay):
of Te Horo Formerly from Upper Hutt and Waikanae. Our beautiful “Dancing Queen” has danced her last dance. Passed away peacefully at the age of 91 years, surrounded by family at the Winara Care Home on Tuesday 4th March 2025. Adored wife of the late “Bill” (Robert James). Mother and Mother-in-law of Joanne, Michelle and Tony and Craig and Louise. Adored Grandmother of Daniel and Jodee, Kimberley, Carlee, Joshua, Matthew, Ethan and Tommy and Jake, Brooke and Bradley. Great Grandma of Brieana, Huia, Mercy and Lennox, Luca, Liam and Rocco and Addison and Cameron. As per Maureen’s wishes a private cremation will take place on Wednesday. A celebration of Maureen’s life will be held at 108 Gear Road, Te Horo on Friday 14th March at 2:00pm.
