McDonald, Marjorie May Elizabeth:
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday 26th November 2024 at the Charles Fleming Retirement Village, Waikanae, in her 88th year. Much loved daughter of the late Lewis and Jessie McKay. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Malcolm and Jocelyn and treasured aunt to Alison and James and their daughter Rowan.
Loved by her stepfamily, Elizabeth and Kevin, Bruce and Juby, and Susan. She was also a caring “Nana” to her step grandchildren Natalie, David, Lydia, Natasha, Anastasia, Ishika, Malika and James.
Heartfelt thanks to the nurses and caregivers in the Hospital Wing of Charles Fleming Retirement Village, Waikanae, for their kind and dedicated care.
An informal celebration of Marjorie’s life will be held in the Hey Coastie Café, 42 Tutere Street, Waikanae Beach, at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, 11th November. All welcome. In keeping with Marjorie’s wishes a private cremation will be held.
