McCallum, Norma: QSM
(1936–2024)
Died on Sunday 1st September, surrounded by family at Wellington Hospital. Norma, 88, was the beloved wife of Lindsay and the dearly loved mother of Mary, Peter and Andrew. Precious grandmother of Paul, Adam and Issy; Ella and Hannah; Ben, Libby and Abby. Loved mother-in-law of Ian, Amanda and Penny; sister of Gillian and the late Nigel; and sister-in-law of Alison. She was also a writer, reader, knitter, music lover, traveller, friend, and active member of the Waikanae community. A memorial service to celebrate Norma’s life will be held in Waikanae at a venue and date to be announced. Meanwhile in accordance with Norma’s wishes, a private service has taken place.
