MAYO, Ellenor June Peacefully on 20th August 2023 at home after a short illness. Aged 82 years. Cherished wife of the late George Mayo. Treasured Mother & Mother-in law of Bronwyn (Dec), Christine & Brian Rogers (Australia). Adored Gran of her grandchildren Jack & Lucy Rogers (Australia). Much loved sister-in law to Elaine & Kevern Mayo (Dec). A private cremation was held at the Kaitawa Crematorium Chapel in Waikanae on Thursday 24th August 2023 at Ellenor’s request. Messages to be sent to PO Box 300, Waikanae 5250. A special thanks to the transplant team at Wellington Hospital, & the residents at Charles Flemming Retirement Village, especially Faye, Pat & Colleen for their friendship, kindness, & care of Ellenor. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
