FITZGERALD, Maree Ann “Fitzy”:
Peacefully on Thursday, 28th August 2025, at Lower Hutt, after a period of illness.
Much loved mother of Rosaria and Myron, daughter of Jenny, sister and sister-in-law of Roger and Julia, step-sister of Paddy and Paul, and aunt of her nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Maree’s life will be held at Cedarwood, 17 Parata Street, Waikanae, on Wednesday, 3rd September at 11:00am, followed by burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, corner of Cypress Street & Ruru Road, Bromley Christchurch on Thursday 4th September, at 2:00pm.

I’m a friend of Jenny’s and I know this journey has been very difficult for her and the wider family.Jenny spoke about Maree and her children and my heart goes out to Rosaria and Myron for the lose of their Mum 🌺
