BROOKS, Joan Aroha: Joan died peacefully at the age of 94 years, in Parkwood Lodge on Wednesday afternoon 7th February 2024. Adored wife of Barry for 62 years. Much loved and respected mother and mother-in-law to Sandra, David & Christine, Kathryn & Todd. Cherished grandmother of Michael, Stephanie, Tommy, Anna & Charlie. Special thanks to the staff of Parkwood Lodge for their extraordinary care of Joan over the past year. A celebration of Joan’s life will be held at Cedarwood, 17 Parata Street, Waikanae, on Wednesday 14th February 2024 at 2:00pm, followed by a private cremation.
