MILLS (nee Tiffen) Margaret Patricia  (RN, Gunner NZDF – WWII). Pat died peacefully in Waikanae on Tuesday 2 August 2022 aged 97 years. Pat was the adored wife of Graham Charles Mills (dec 2000) and dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Susie, Mike, John, Liz, Annie and John. Beloved Grandma of Ro (& John), Robbie, Chris (& Vicky), Jono (& Jo), Jack (& Clara) and Amy (& Josh) and loved great grandmother (Ma ma mama) of Lenny, Maggie, Zoe and Johnny. Pat will be remembered by her family and friends for her caring nature, her creativity (spinning, weaving and knitting), her love of puzzles and her community service (30 years at Waikanae Information Office, Palmerston North Samaritans). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wellington Free Ambulance. A low-key memorial service will be held for Pat in Waikanae on Tuesday afternoon as she didn’t “want a fuss”.
