MURPHY, Neil Maurice

Neil passed away surrounded by family, after an illness, at Waikanae on 25 March 2022 aged 71. He was the dearly loved and cherished father of Lara and Michael-Sean (Buzz) and father-in-law of Jason. Beloved Pop of Talia, Colton, Kiriana and Tawai, and middle brother of Theresa (Waikanae) and John (Australia).
The family especially thank the staff of Mary Potter Hospice, Waikanae for their gentle care of Neil in the last few weeks. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Cancer Society of New Zealand www.cancer.org.nz, or left at the service.
A service will be held for Neil at Cedarwood, 17 Parata Street, Waikanae on Tuesday 29 March, 2022 at 11:00am. Vaccine passes are still required, numbers are now limited to 200. A link for the livestream is available by contacting Waikanae Funeral Home on info@wfhome.co.nz or 042936844.
