of Paraparaumu, formally Otaki.  Dearly loved husband of the late Winnie.  Treasured father of Lynette, Heather and Terry.  Loved father-in-law of Margaret and Gerrard.  Loved Granddad of Jenna, Olivia, Rebecca, Joseph, Daniel, Hayley and Angela.  Loved great-grandfather of eleven great-grandchildren.  Much loved nephew of the late Herbert and Maude Tews.  The family thank the staff at Sevenoaks, Kapiti for their wonderful care of Ian.
