ASHENDEN, Edna May. (nee Mart). On 23 January 2019, peacefully at Wellington Hospital, beloved wife of the late Arthur Ashenden. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Dale and John Clarke, and Lynne and John Edgar.  Valued friend and counsellor to her many step and honorary grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  A service to celebrate Edna’s life will be held at Cedarwood, 17 Parata Street, Waikanae, on Wednesday 30 January at 2.00pm.  A graveside service will be held at Karori Cemetery on Thursday 31 January, at 10.30am.
